My Monthly Adventures: January 2018 | Breaking New Year's Resolutions, More Procrastination, and Wrapping Myself in Blankets and Books

Hello, everyone!  Sorry but there are no puns to share with you today. Okay, maybe one! While I was searching up puns to add to this puntastic post, I saw on my calendar that it has been February for twenty-one pilots  days. That means that this post was supposed to go up twenty-one milk bottles on the wall ago. Just to inform everyone, this is my mind at noon. Anyway, this is an easy and laid-back post so I do not know why I keep pushing this aside and instead choose to write reviews. One of my New Year's Resolutions was to have my wrap-ups posted ON TIME . Emphasis on the words " ON TIME ." So, let's just try to wrap-up January. Anyway, I am going to fly right through this wrap-up for January as I have to finish a few book reviews for some authors and a publicist I am working with. Thank you to all of you who are okay with my laziness and my terrible time-management. Also, since I am super lazy, can I just copy and paste my list from my December

My Monthly Adventures: December 2017 | Procrastination, Cat Bribes, and Unexplainable Puns

Whale hello there! I know this is late, and before I apologize for being such a terrible blogger, I want to tell you guys why I did not post this sooner. Excuses for Why I Did Not Wanna Write This Post...'Cause Oops, I May Do It Again Stress, stress, stress...to be the perfect book blogger, to be the perfect student, to be the perfect cat mommy I did not know how you would take the pun gif. I did not feel like writing this. And I did not know how you would react to hearing that your (favorite) blogger did not want to write her recap and get into a writing funk. I have been writing a lot more, and I do not want to mess this up. And finally, I barely remember what happened in December other than finals. Ugh! But, can I bribe you with a picture of a cute cat? - - - Carrying on, December was an okay month for me. With all the stress of college finals, I was worried I would be stuck with my nose in a book, like always; however, the books would not count to

My Monthly Adventures: November 2017

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!  Before I even begin disussing everything I did this month, I will answer the question that everyone who is reading this is possibly thinking of: "Isn't it December, not November?" Well, um, yes, it's December and almost the beginning of January 2018; however, I am still celebrating the month of November. There is no problem with that! So, although I usually (and should)  post these in the beginning of the designated month, I never felt like writing all the adventures I experienced. I really did not read that much nor did much except for college and sleeping; however, I want to cross this post off the list before it never gets posted. As this month was somewhat boring(in my opinion), I will " try " to make this post short. Books I Read This Month 1. Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan 4.5/5 stars I love the Magnus Chase trilogy; however, this was not the satisfying ending that I was hoping for. There were a few thing

My Monthly Adventures: October 2017

Hello, all you lovely human beings, and if you brought your pet or multiple pets to your computer to read this blog, hello, meow, bark, or any other animal sound! October is my favorite month due to many reasons: 1) It is my birth month, 2) It is Halloween, which means it is scary and spooky, and 3) the candy! So, in the month of October, I had read a few more books and had written more posts than I did last month. Books I Read This Month All these books listed below I read during October; however, I never fully reviewed them on this blog. Look out for them as I will probably review them in a month or two. 1. All Rights Reserved  by Gregory Scott Katsoulis 4/5 stars Thank you to HarlequinTeen for sending me an arc of this book even if it came a little late. I really enjoyed this one; however, I have a few complaints, which I will explain in further detail in my review for it. 2. Amber Sky by Claire Warner 3.5/5 stars I chose Amber Sky one day since I loved the cover, which

My Monthly Adventures: September 2017

Hello! How was your month? My month was very busy, which meant I barely had time to read and write reviews or other types of blog posts. I will try to squeeze some more in the month of October, but we will read. Well, this little introduction is not enough about me so let's get on with what I did this month! Books I Read This Month 1. The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken 5/5 stars This has to be my favorite book of this month, and is in with my favorite books of all time. I really liked Alexandra Bracken's writing and her storytelling; and, I cannot wait to read more books from her. Here is my review on Goodreads and my blog . 2.  Achilles  by Greg Boose 1/5 stars I DNF(did not finish) this book after eighty pages. It was so bad that I had to write a review on it on Goodreads and soon my blog. 3. Our Short History by Laura Goldstein 4/5 stars I really enjoyed reading Goldstein's book. I have a review on Goodreads ...for now. 4.   Gir

My Monthly Adventures: August 2017

I have decided to start a new segment on this blog called My Monthly Adventures. Since the school year is starting, it is the perfect time for me to begin this new addition to the post family. To start off this new segment, school has started(BOO and HOORAY), sleep has taken a step down on my list of things to do, and school work has flooded my life. Since this is a monthly update, I will tell you what I read and did this month. For this month, I did a good amount of reading, but I did not read the best books on the bookshelves. I mostly gave books 3/5 star ratings and lower for most of the books I read, which is not normal. I read... 1. What My Cat Has Taught Me About Life by Niki Anderson 4/5 stars This was the first book I had completely read in August due to a really bad reading slump taking over my life and 180 pages was an easy enough task for me to complete. I did a blog post based on this book called The Meaning of Life...From a Cat , which is a discussion/ mini review
