It all starts one day while Sal is out robbing and flirting with rich ladies, and Sal steals a flier that grants them admission to a prestigious event for becoming the Queen's Opal with just a price of a life. Unlucky for Sal, they gets in, and survives through attempted assassinations and kills their competitors for a chance to become the desired position of Opal. It all goes perfectly to plan with Maud becoming a trusty friend and Elise becoming a love interest

From a parent and child relationship to a president and citizen relationship, someone is always above someone else in society. This is no different in Bartol's  Secondborn . Roselle St. Sismode, secondborn of her mother the Clarity of the Fate of Swords, has been watched since the day she born, and it is no different on Transition Day, which is the day she begins her never-ending journey to protect firstborns. In Echo, a mysterious man named River West stays in the Whites' guesthouse. Violet immediately takes a liking to him the minute he walks into her life, but she does not know the full story of this man who shows up in a fancy car and has secrets trailing behind him. Then, disappearances and deaths start occurring due to River's "glow" that causes him to control people or to see an image, like a hologram, of a person or thing. This causes trouble to stir, Violet to question everything, and more mystery people coming to the Whites' home. Who knows what's real and who is creating the uproar in a regular boring town, such as Echo. Discussion: First, even though I love the cover, I did not love everything about this story. Lee Cuddy definitely does not follow that life path since she is pushed into a world of art and survival due to a group of bachelors inspired by Duchamp's art. One day, she is betrayed by family and friends due to and ends up in juvenile prison where she soon escapes. Once she escapes, she is thrown into a world of mystery and unknown adventures in Crystal Castle after she gets recruited, and even after she escapes.      I, obviously, love my blog. I love writing about books and anything I want that you and I like, but that does not explain why I abandon this blog that I say I love for very long periods of time until I trek onto this blog once again with good intentions but only leaving one or two scraps of posts to get my readers by. That, hopefully, stops now(or soon). That is why I devised a plan to keep by so I can get full use out of this blog I conjured up one day on a whim. My plan consists of: 1. Amount of Blog Posts I will write at least one blog post a month without writing something just to check the task off my list. I will write in advance, schedule a specific time to write blog post, or do whatever I can to complete this task without doing anything I view as bad. 2. I recently had just finished What My Cat Has Taught Me About Life by Niki Anderson; and while reading this book about cats and what they can teach us, I came up with the idea for this blog post. Now, I am in no way a trained professional in psychology, like Frasier Crane(HA!), nor do I know what the meaning of life is. I was just interested in the idea of a variety of different cats teaching others alike and unlike them lessons and different ways to view life arranging from the importance of individuality to the idea of showing people what you are feeling.
