Mini Book Reviews: Gudetama | Stress and Why Books Can Handle It So Much Better Than Mortal Humans

Image
Hi everyone! Has it been a while for you since I've posted? Probably not, but that is how I feel today. After a full day of school, I feel so tired. I am not tired so much in the way that I need to fall asleep in the next minute with drool flowing from my open mouth, but I am tired from feeling stressed out all day. I have been wondering about my final grade for my English test; I have put myself on a reading schedule due to not having read anything for the last two weeks because SCHOOL IS MY LIFE*; I have studied for tests throughout the past two weeks as well. Also, finals is this week, and I am freaking out. There have been many things stressing me, and I am so glad that blogging is not one of them. After a long time of sitting in my carpool's car, I finally arrived home to find a package sitting against my house door. Little did I know that the two books that I requested so long ago would be the ones to pick me up after a stressful couple of weeks. * Can you relat...

My Monthly Adventures: January 2018 | Breaking New Year's Resolutions, More Procrastination, and Wrapping Myself in Blankets and Books

Hello, everyone!  Sorry but there are no puns to share with you today. Okay, maybe one! While I was searching up puns to add to this puntastic post, I saw on my calendar that it has been February for twenty-one pilots  days. That means that this post was supposed to go up twenty-one milk bottles on the wall ago. Just to inform everyone, this is my mind at noon. Anyway, this is an easy and laid-back post so I do not know why I keep pushing this aside and instead choose to write reviews. One of my New Year's Resolutions was to have my wrap-ups posted ON TIME . Emphasis on the words " ON TIME ." So, let's just try to wrap-up January. Anyway, I am going to fly right through this wrap-up for January as I have to finish a few book reviews for some authors and a publicist I am working with. Thank you to all of you who are okay with my laziness and my terrible time-management. Also, since I am super lazy, can I just copy and paste my list from my December ...

My Yearly TBR: Top 4 Books I Need to Read Before the End of 2018

There are so many books in the universe I want to read; however, I do not have the time to read all day long as I am ruling my kingdom, which has food raining from the skies daily, and maintaining my grades. I compiled a list of books that a royal dragon can complete within the span of year. Also, I have made my Goodreads goal 70 books and there are only 4(+) books in my year tbr, so I should finish these 4(+) books by the end of 2018, hopefully. My Yearly TBR 1.  Strange the Dreamer  by Laini Taylor I have already mentioned in my  Winter TBR  post that I wanted to read this before 2017 ended; however, due to my current mood, which is to read all my attained arcs, I have not felt like reading much finished copies, so  Strange the Dreamer  is #1 on this list as this book has received rave reviews and tons of 5 star ratings. I hope I can be one of those readers who loves this book so I can be in the know and read the second book in this duology...

What Have I Promised Myself? | 2018 Book and Blogging Resolutions

Image
The announcement of the New Year could be heard from me as I shout from the foot of my bed, reading one of the best books out there! Do you feel different from 2017 you or do you feel the same? I feel exhilarated since I have just chugged a bunch of hot chocolate(it gets chilly in Texas, okay😎) and I cannot wait for the many 2018 book releases, coming out soon. Other than the excitement of the beginning of 2018, I feel guilty as I have finally gotten around to writing my resolutions for all the world to read. Instead of stalling anymore, I need to get on with this post and start my resolutions as soon as possible. My 2018 Resolutions: 1. Writing More Posts Whether I write weird posts, tags, or reviews for the year of 2018, I am hoping to do more posts than I had done last year. My initial goal was to try to get to 100 posts, but that may be crossing the line due to the amount of time it takes me to write a single post. Even though I want to have a large quantity of posts for th...
