The I Spy Book Challenge

It has been almost a month since Lili from Lili's Blissful Pages tagged me to do this tag. Others may wait a day or two, but I guess a month is the amount for me. I don't like using school as my excuse, but what am I going to do? Sorry not sorry.

When I was tiny and used to travel around my home state, I used to force my brother to play I Spy with me. He never wanted to play because I always made it impossible to find the correct answer so I would automatically win. At least, I think that is why. Anyway, once I saw that Lili tagged me, I was ecstatic to see one of my favorite childhood games mixed with a couple of books. The only thing I was nervous about was the five minute timer and the variety of books I had to choose from to answer the questions given. Hopefully, I will survive! Without further ado, let's start the timer and let me spy a bunch of books!

Four minutes and eighteen seconds later, I appeared at a mouth of a cave with all the books blocking my entrance. I had answered all the questions; yet, the trolls guarding the book-filled cave would not let me pass since I peeked at my bookshelf for a hour before completing this tag. Oops!

Anyway, I survived from this, and this most likely means you will survive, too!

Or, I think so...

Lastly, I nominate everyone and anyone who wants to do this challenge! It doesn't matter whether you have a blog or not. You can write your results in your diary, a comment, or on a poster so you can ask people to play I Spy! Also, before you go, read some of Lili's content since she is the one who tagged me and is awesome!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy your day!

Love,

  1. Haha... it was really impossible to do this in five freakin' minutes. I'm glad that you finally do this and I love your answers. So genius. Like the product of fire: Scars. I never thought of that...

So we're both pants-loving people. hehe.

    1. Hi, Lili! I think the time limit should be set to infinity years. It definitely was hard to gather all the book titles in the short amount of time given. Also, I am no genius, I promise you that. I just kidnapped a faerie to give me all the answers since they cannot lie. 😂

Also, pants are the BEST! Skirts and dresses are not my favorites; but when I get a new pair of jeans, I get ecstatic!

I hope you have a great day, and thanks for tagging me! It was really fun! Also, how are you? Just wanted to ask!

  2. This sounds like a fun tag! Although it would take me agessss to think of my answers!

    1. It's really fun! You should at least try it so you know the struggles of everyone who conquered this tag. Plus, the timer is really just baloney anyway so don't stop yourself from trying this tag. Thanks for the comment, Jenny! Have a great day!

  3. This makes me really wish I wrote all the books I’ve ever read down somewhere - I used to have a little notecard with all the books I’ver had but somehow managed to misplace it - I think I may have to give goodreads a chance just to keep track of the books I read! This would take me forever to list out! I’ve read Mockingjay and I think that was the first series (The Hunger Games) that really got me hooked into reading (well, after Harry Potter that is!). I’ve never heard of the book King of Scars but I’ve just added it to my to be read list and I can’t wait to read it, it sounds interesting and the cover is definitely what made me curious to check out the summary (though yes yes I know probably shouldn’t judge a book by its cover!) I’ve read the Clockwork Princess but I don’t think I completely finished the series, I can’t remember but I know I started it right after the Mortal Instruments which was an AMAZING series!

    1. Yes, Goodreads and owning a stack of note cards are both great solutions to remembering what you've read. I use a journal; then, at the end of the year, I am going to enter all my books and ratings into Goodreads. I recommend you to try this tag as it is very fun. Plus, you get to stare at all the beautiful book covers!

The Hunger Games was one of the first books that got me into reading, too. It is such an interesting world and very suspenseful. King of Scars is going to be amazing. I am always a fan of Leigh Bardugo's books and their covers. Also, you should definitely read the Dark Artifices! The second book in the trilogy is one of her better books. Thanks for commenting! Have a great day!

    2. I finally made a goodreads account and wow it's taking me a while to actually remember all the books I've read haha! And yess! You have a point there, definitely could stare at all my book covers all day and re-read so many of them while I'm at it!

I'll definitely add The Dark Artifices to my list, I just looked up the summary and I am hooked already!

    3. Yay, now we can be buddies on Goodreads...if you want to! The wide variety of books I read and have not still overwhelms me since I want all the books! Also, great job at adding The Dark Artifices to your tbr! Once you read them, you must cry and chat with me due to all the feels! Thanks for reading and commenting and starring at your bookshelves! Have a great day!

  4. I love reading your challenge posts. I would love to participate, but 1) I never kept a book log until last year, which means I don't have a record of all the books I've read before. 2) I will conveniently use school and exams as an excuse to make up for the stuff I'm unable to do because I procrastinate a lot (such as updating my blog 😅).
So I'll be contended with just reading

    1. Thank you! Also, I have not read all these books. I have just stalked the internet until I found the perfect match for each question.
Also, I am so glad that so am not the only one who procrastinates over writing a post. One minute I am writing a post; the next, I surfing twitter and finding what name Kylie Jenner's baby is.
Have a fun day of reading and procrastinating! I am also going to start reading some ARCs I've procrastinated from reading!
