My Yearly TBR: Top 4 Books I Need to Read Before the End of 2018

There are so many books in the universe I want to read; however, I do not have the time to read all day long as I am ruling my kingdom, which has food raining from the skies daily, and maintaining my grades. I compiled a list of books that a royal dragon can complete within the span of year. Also, I have made my Goodreads goal 70 books and there are only 4(+) books in my year tbr, so I should finish these 4(+) books by the end of 2018, hopefully.

My Yearly TBR

The Green MileStrange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1)Turtles All the Way DownDaughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1)

1. Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
I have already mentioned in my Winter TBR post that I wanted to read this before 2017 ended; however, due to my current mood, which is to read all my attained arcs, I have not felt like reading much finished copies, so Strange the Dreamer is #1 on this list as this book has received rave reviews and tons of 5 star ratings. I hope I can be one of those readers who loves this book so I can be in the know and read the second book in this duology once it comes out in 2018.

2. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
If you have not heard about Turtles All the Way Down by now, find a safe place from the internet after you finish reading this post and immediately drive, walk, or bicycle to your nearest store to pick up a copy of this book, because where have you been? In October 2017, which was the release month of Turtles All the Way Down, everyone was freaking out over this book except for me, the hungry word-eating dragon who stays up 24/7 reading just so she can wear a Literary Rebel shirt. You think I am joking with the t-shirt, but I have one! Back to the topic at hand, you probably have read it, your parent has probably already read it, and I bet your younger or youngest sibling has read this dang book so that may be a sign for me to read it..hmm, right about NOW!

Update: I have read it and I am in desperate need of a reread.

3. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
This is a book that has been on my tbr shelf for so long that it is near the back of my tbr shelf. Now, before you start thinking that I have had this book for dozens of years, stop your judgmental thinking as I have only had it for a few months! That is the truth! Also, it doesn't help that there is so much hype for this trilogy and all the rest of Taylor's books. I will get to them...one day?

4. The Green Mile by Stephen King
I read IT by Stephen King and I loved it so much! Since I also love "The Green Mile" movie as well, I thought it was time to finally sit down and read one of my favorite movies adapted from a book. Also, it helps that my parents just happened to have a copy on their bookshelf they don't look at nor mention anymore.

5. Any and All ARCs I Gathered in 2017
I think this point is self-explanatory if you read my last post.

Even though I may have listed 5 books in 5 separate points, which actually includes several books, I feel pretty confident in reading all or almost all of the books on and not listed on this list. Wish me luck!

Love,
