I cannot believe the amount of blog tours I have done since I have first started my little blog. There are so many books in the universe I want to read; however, I do not have the time to read all day long as I am ruling my kingdom, which has food raining from the skies daily, and maintaining my grades. I compiled a list of books that a royal dragon can complete within the span of year. Also, I have made my Goodreads goal 70 books and there are only 4(+) books in my year tbr, so I should finish these 4(+) books by the end of 2018, hopefully. My Yearly TBR 1.  Strange the Dreamer  by Laini Taylor I have already mentioned in my  Winter TBR  post that I wanted to read this before 2017 ended; however, due to my current mood, which is to read all my attained arcs, I have not felt like reading much finished copies, so  Strange the Dreamer  is #1 on this list as this book has received rave reviews and tons of 5 star ratings. I hope I can be one of those readers who loves this book so I can be in the know and read the second book in this duology once it comes out in 2018. 2.

As I am currently listening to 2017's top hits, I thought that this would be the perfect time to begin the new year with a post discussing my favorite books of 2017. 2017 was a somewhat great reading year. I gave a lot of 5 stars to books that can be brought into my favorites and others that can stay on my almost-favorites shelf. I wish I could but some of the books I read last year were not the greatest so I have compiled a list of books that have lasted with me throughout the year. 1. Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare First off, I have my #1 favorite for 2017: Lord of Shadows . I am pretty sure almost everyone is psychic on this one as any Cassandra Clare book is absolutely #1 for me. The only regret I have about this book is that I wish I had written a review for this when I had first read it, and maybe I will when I reread it; however, I was absent from my blog for a while so yeah.      MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!  Before I even begin disussing everything I did this month, I will answer the question that everyone who is reading this is possibly thinking of: "Isn't it December, not November?" Well, um, yes, it's December and almost the beginning of January 2018; however, I am still celebrating the month of November. There is no problem with that! So, although I usually (and should)  post these in the beginning of the designated month, I never felt like writing all the adventures I experienced. I really did not read that much nor did much except for college and sleeping; however, I want to cross this post off the list before it never gets posted. As this month was somewhat boring(in my opinion), I will " try " to make this post short. Books I Read This Month 1. Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan 4.5/5 stars I love the Magnus Chase trilogy; however, this was not the satisfying ending that I was hoping for. There were a few thing

*Received a copy of  Aaru  by David Meredith from the author in exchange for a honest review. 2/5 stars Rose, a sixteen year old leukemia patient, is slowly dying each day with no hope for a cure to save her. While she is in the hospital, which acts as Rose's prison, a stranger named Mr. Adams saves her soul so she can be part of Aaru, a new project that saves the deceased who deserve a second chance to live. While Rose is alive in her virtual world, Koren is becoming a famous star. However, life does not seem that glorious when your story becomes a worldwide topic. One disadvantage is when Magic Man becomes the evil villain in both of Koren's and Roses' lives. Throughout the book, Rose tries to stay by Koren as trouble strikes them through their journey of sisterhood and life. Foreword: Received Frankie by Shivaun Plozza from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. 3/5 stars Frankie is angry. She is suspended from school because she hit a boy with a Shakespeare novel, which may have caused her to repeatedly bite her thumb throughout the novel. Also, she has a half-brother from the mother who left her when she was younger. Although Frankie may be happy when she meets her new brother Xavier, she becomes confused when she finds out Xavier has a troubling, crime-filled life and a gorgeous friend named Nate that catches Frankie's eye. Until Xavier disappears, Frankie believes she could never get away from her life of disappointing her friends and family. Spooky Reads to Read During Halloween 1. The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken Um, a spooky story with demons and tons of magical fantasy elements in it. Sign me up! This book is so good, and it can definitely get you in the correct mindset for Halloween.
